Job summary

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced mechanical maintenance supervisor for gas plants and pipeline systems in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and lead a team of technicians to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will coordinate with operations for planned shutdowns, manage work orders and equipment history, and support RCA investigations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5-8 years hands-on maintenance experience in gas plants and pipelines.
• Experience with mechanical equipment including static and rotary equipment.
• SAP PM knowledge or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for mechanical equipment in gas plants and pipelines.
• Lead and manage mechanical technicians and fitters, ensuring safe, efficient work.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permits-to-work, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with operations to plan maintenance activities, shutdowns, and equipment isolation.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance jobs.
• Provide root cause analysis support for equipment failures.
• Verify job quality and equipment readiness before handover to operations.
• Assist with inventory control and spare parts management.
• Prepare and close maintenance work orders and equipment history records.
• Support plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency maintenance activities.
• Provide on-job training and mentoring to technicians.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in maintenance of gas plants and pipeline systems.
• Strong expertise in maintenance of mechanical equipment, including:
• Static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves)
• Rotary equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers)
• Experience using SAP PM for maintenance work orders, notifications, and history tracking is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in gas plants and pipelines.
