Job summary

Abunayyan Holding in Saudi Arabia seeks a Lead Production Engineer to steer fabrication, welding and assembly activities for oil & gas packages, ensuring compliance with drawings, WPS, and international codes.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive Lean/5S, monitor productivity, and coordinate with QC, HSE, and project teams to deliver on schedule and budget.

Experience with Aramco projects and codes (ASME/API/AWS) is preferred; CSWIP/CWI certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
• 8+ years in fabrication production engineering.
• Team-lead experience.
• Oil & gas / Aramco project experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of production engineers across fabrication areas.
• Translate drawings and specifications into executable job packs and cutting/fit-up plans.
• Ensure welding and fabrication follow approved WPS/PQR and Aramco/ASME/API/AWS codes.
• Plan and sequence production activities to meet schedule and optimize resources.
• Monitor progress, productivity and rework and resolve technical execution issues.
• Interface with QC on inspection stages, NDT and dimensional control.
• Prepare and review method statements, ITPs and technical calculations.
• Support man-hour estimation and material take-off for planning and costing.
• Enforce HSE requirements and safe execution methods.
• Drive 5S, Lean and continuous improvement on production lines.
• Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Mentor and develop junior production engineers.
• Report technical progress and issues to the Production Manager.
