Job description
Job Purpose

Lead and manage the Government Affairs, and Guest & Hospitality units to ensure effective administration and government affairs. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other public sector stakeholders. The Manager will handle government portals and requests, and manage communications with government entities.

Job Specific Accountabilities
Government Affairs
  • Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other public sector stakeholders. Represent the organization in interactions with government entities to ensure compliance and foster positive relationships.
Government Correspondence
  • Handle all government portals and incoming requests involving government e-systems, such as visas and iqamas.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of applications and reports to government entities.
Compliance and Protocol Adherence
  • Ensure all interactions and communications with government bodies comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
  • Follow official protocols and procedures when dealing with high-level guests and dignitaries.
Record Keeping and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all government-related correspondence and communications.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity and accuracy of records.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Coordinate with internal departments to manage government-related requests and ensure timely responses.
  • Facilitate communication between the organization and government entities to address any issues or concerns.
Event Management
  • Plan and manage events involving government representatives and other high-profile guests.
Team Performance Management
  • Oversee team performance, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
  • Implement performance management strategies to develop and retain top talent.
Strategic Planning And Budget Oversight
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve organizational goals.
  • Oversee budget planning and management to ensure efficient use of resources.
