Bloomingdale's in Riyadh is seeking a Personal Shopping Manager to lead the specialist personal shopping department, curating exclusive selections for high-value clients and driving sales, loyalty, and satisfaction.

You will monitor market trends, formulate strategies with budgets, collaborate across units to promote the service, build strong client relationships, maintain a confidential customer database, and mentor staff for excellence.

• Promote personal shopping concepts across units.

• Guide staff to deliver excellent service and grow the client base.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities at all times.
• Formulate a personal shopping strategy and plan together with projected budget requirements, in order to build and uphold the image of the organisation.
• Work with other business units in order to create concepts for promoting personal shopping experience to customers.
• Build and develop relationships with each Personal Shopping customer. Cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, leading by example. Ensure each customers needs are identified to recommend a range of products, maximise upon all sales opportunities and resolve customer concerns effectively and promptly.
• Maintain relationships with key customers by informing them of new arrivals, inviting them exclusively for previews, promotions and activities conducted in stores.
• Understand customer profiles and feedback to Marketing, Buying and Planning on current consumer trends. Contribute to buying practice in line with customer needs
• Ensure the customer database is maintained and updated with all the information pertaining to the exclusive customers.
• Develop, grow and establish networks in the market to build effective and sustainable business relationships resulting in the growth of the Personal Shopping customer database.
• Create and analyse reports in order to gain understanding of current performance trends, to identify commercial opportunities.
• Maintain confidentiality of customers’ personal information and assure the information will be solely utilised for the department store.
• Guide and motivate staff to enhance performance and produce quality work, and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles.
