Job summary

Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche is seeking an experienced Head of Housekeeping to lead the department in delivering exceptional cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will manage staffing, inventories, and vendor relationships while upholding Sofitel’s standards and sustainability goals.

The role requires leadership in a luxury six-star environment, strong operational skills, and fluent English communication.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping management experience in a similar role.
• Experience in the luxury market, prior 5-star hotel experience essential.
• Strong operational background with experience implementing and managing brand standards.
• Experience coaching and developing a professional management team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring standards of cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Plan, organize and record by room all additional cleaning for maximum cleanliness and logical work patterns.
• Ensure room cleaning productivity is monitored and aligned with hotel standards.
• Manage laundry operations and linen inventory with cost-effective controls.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance for room readiness and VIP needs.
• Maintain inventory of stocks and supplies to prevent pilferage or loss.
• Provide month-end reports to General Manager and Finance.
• Adhere to emergency communication procedures and hotel policies.
