Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group in Saudi Arabia seeks an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to support the Director in overseeing daily Housekeeping and Laundry operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across the resort.

This leadership role focuses on pre-opening readiness, team development, safety compliance, and delivering a refined guest experience in line with Rosewood luxury standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in a senior housekeeping leadership role at luxury hotels.
• College degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations, health & safety, and chemical handling.
• Experience managing payroll, budgets, inventories, and large teams.
• Proficient in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support daily housekeeping and laundry operations in line with Rosewood luxury standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Support team leadership, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Assist in payroll control, budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
• Oversee linen, uniforms, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and F&B to ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
• Act as a brand ambassador delivering refined, guest-focused service.
