Job summary

CodeNinja is seeking a hands-on Retail Liabilities Specialist to support CASA/deposit propositions for a banking client in KSA. You will own pricing strategy, cost of funds analysis, and portfolio performance for retail liability products.

The role covers customer acquisition and retention, end-to-end product lifecycle activities, and collaboration with Treasury on deposit mix optimization, including Sharia-compliant structures where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in consumer deposits and CASA products.
• Understanding of pricing strategy and cost of funds.
• Hands-on experience with portfolio analytics and performance tracking.
• Experience in a retail banking liabilities environment.

• Own pricing strategy and cost of funds analysis for retail liabilities

About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Retail Liabilities Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert supporting CASA/deposit propositions for our banking client in KSA.

This role owns pricing strategy, portfolio performance, customer acquisition and retention, and end-to-end product lifecycle activities for retail liability products.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as SME for CASA/deposit product propositions, from design through go-to-market
• Own pricing strategy and cost of funds analysis for retail liability products
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance, tracking key liability KPIs
• Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies for deposit products
• Manage full product lifecycle activities — enhancements, repricing, sunset/migration
• Collaborate with product, pricing, and treasury teams on deposit mix optimization
• Support development of Sharia-compliant deposit structures where applicable

Must-Haves

• Strong practical experience in consumer deposits/CASA products
• Solid understanding of pricing strategy and cost of funds
