Role Overview:

As a Liabilities Specialist based in Saudi Arabia, you will serve as a subject matter expert overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of liability products, including CASA, term deposits, and retail/corporate savings portfolios. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, IT implementation units, and regional banking stakeholders, to ensure that operational workflows are seamless and compliant with local regulatory standards. Your contribution will directly influence the bank’s ability to manage liquidity effectively, improve customer onboarding experiences, and maintain high standards of operational integrity within the Saudi financial market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • – Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of liability products to ensure accurate processing and regulatory compliance for regional banking clients.
  • – Collaborate with internal technology teams to streamline core banking system configurations, reducing manual intervention and improving transaction processing speed.
  • – Oversee the reconciliation and reporting of liability accounts to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) guidelines.
  • – Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks in deposit operations, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience and operational throughput.
  • – Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex liability-related queries, providing expert guidance to internal stakeholders and ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
Required Skillset:
  • – Possess 8 to 15 years of extensive experience in banking operations with a deep functional understanding of liability product management and core banking systems.
  • – Demonstrate the ability to interpret and implement complex regulatory requirements within the Saudi financial sector, ensuring full compliance across all operational workflows.
  • – Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to manage large-scale data sets, perform financial reconciliations, and drive process automation within banking environments.
