ABYAT in Riyadh invites an experienced Learning and Development Sr. Officer to design and oversee comprehensive training programs and onboarding processes.

You will drive initiatives to integrate new hires and provide ongoing development for all staff. Requirements include 3–5 years in Training/HR, program design experience, onboarding expertise, strong communication, and familiarity with AI and design tools to enhance training materials.

• 3–5 years of proven Training and Development or HR experience.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs.
• Experience creating training materials and onboarding resources.
• Experience in Retail is highly preferred.

About this role:

Learning and Development Sr. Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs and onboarding processes. This role ensures new employees are effectively integrated into the organization, and existing employees receive continuous development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development

• Design and develop comprehensive training programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Create training materials, manuals, and presentations to support various learning initiatives.
• Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, and platforms (e.g., e-learning, in-person, workshops).

Needs Assessment and Analysis

• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for development.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand specific training requirements and tailor programs accordingly.

Training Delivery

• Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels.
• Engage participants through interactive and impactful training methods.
• Ensure training content is relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with current best practices.

Evaluation and Improvement

• Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, surveys, and performance metrics.
• Continuously improve training materials and delivery methods based on evaluation results and industry trends.
• Report on training outcomes and provide recommendations for enhancements.

Compliance and Record Keeping

• Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and certifications.

Employee Development

• Support employee development initiatives by providing coaching, mentoring, and career development resources.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organization.

Industry Trends and Best Practices

• Stay updated on industry trends, training technologies, and best practices in employee development.
• Incorporate innovative approaches and tools into training and onboarding programs.

Education and Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of Proven experience in Training and Development, HR, Employee Engagement or similar role.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Experience in creating training materials and resources.
• Experience in developing and implementing onboarding programs.
• Experience in Retail Company is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with AI and design tools to enhance training Materials.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is required.
• Certifications in TOT, Training Material Designing and Talent Development can be beneficial.
