Job summary

slihrms is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to monitor and supervise structural construction activities for large-scale buildings and hospitality developments in Saudi Arabia. You will review shop drawings, coordinate with architects and MEP teams, ensure QA/QC, and report progress against milestones.

The candidate should have 8–12 years of relevant experience, GCC Saudi experience preferred, and a postgraduate structural degree.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus.
Master's degree preferred.
Professional registration desirable.
GCC experience preferred.
Experience with large-scale buildings and hotels/resorts.

Responsibilities

Construction Supervision: Inspect foundations, concrete and steel works, and building frameworks to ensure adherence to designs and quality requirements.
Technical Review: Review shop drawings, material submissions, and proposals for design intent compliance; coordinate interfaces.
Quality Assurance: Verify materials, inspect test reports, and ensure conformity to quality plans and procedures.
Site Inspection: Conduct regular progress assessments, monitor adherence to schedules, and document inspection outcomes.
Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with client representatives, architects, MEP engineers, and project teams; lead coordination meetings.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepare progress reports and maintain inspection and test records.
