Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineering registration or equivalent desirable.
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution preferred.
• Additional certifications related to structural design, construction supervision, or project management advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect foundations, retaining structures, concrete works, steel structures, and building frameworks.
• Verify construction activities comply with approved methodologies and quality requirements.
• Monitor workmanship to meet project specs and industry standards.
• Witness inspections and testing of structural materials and completed works.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, QS, and construction teams to address interfaces.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and contractor proposals for design intent.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions to site-related structural challenges.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and compliance reports.
