Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company seeks an experienced Legal Contracting leader to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial, construction, procurement, and infrastructure contracts. You will provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership on major projects and contractual obligations.

You will oversee contracting lifecycle from procurement through closeout, identify risks, ensure governance compliance, and mentor the Legal Contracting team while improving templates and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, master’s preferred.
• Significant experience in a leading law firm or major organization.
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and infrastructure contracts.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders on risk, negotiations, and strategic matters.
• Knowledge of contracting principles, procurement, governance, and regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Legal Contracting team; knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex contracts.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership on obligations, risks, and major project matters.
• Support projects through contracting lifecycle from procurement to closeout.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks including variations and disputes.
• Ensure contracts comply with laws, internal policies, governance and delegation of authority.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Development, Finance to provide timely legal support.
• Manage external legal counsel and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, guidance, processes, and contracting best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the Legal Contracting team.
