Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company is hiring a dynamic Commercial Director for City Operations (DEL 5) to drive the commercial strategy and execution for city-wide operations. You will lead contract negotiations, procurement, financial management, and risk mitigation across diverse operational areas to ensure alignment with strategic goals.

The role requires 12+ years in commercial/contract management within O&M, FM, utilities, or construction, with strong leadership and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial/contract management within operations or construction sectors.
• MRICS/FRICS accreditation is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of commercial strategies for Operations contracts within Qiddiya.
• Oversee post-contract commercial management across City Ops (variations, claims, renewals, performance).
• Define renewal and cost-optimization strategies for key service contracts.
• Provide commercial insight on risks, commitments, and forecast impact aligned to Finance and Reporting.
• Lead implementation of service charge framework and cost recovery processes.
• Act as commercial lead to City Ops leadership and support ExCom/MC decisions.
• Mentor and develop the commercial team to foster excellence and continuous improvement.
