Job summary

DACO seeks a Landside Operations General Manager to lead terminal and curbside operations, optimize passenger flow, and maintain high service and safety standards. You will manage a diverse team, coordinate with regulators and stakeholders, and drive continuous improvements in efficiency and customer experience.

The role requires a strong track record in airport operations, strategic leadership, and effective contract and risk management. Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of total experience in airport operations, with leadership roles.
• Preferred: Accredited Airport Executive (AAE).
• Languages: Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for landside operations, aligning with the organization’s vision.
• Oversee terminal and curbside operations including passenger flows, ground transportation, parking, and safety.
• Monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvements, and manage staff and resources.
• Lead contracts with third party vendors, ensuring SLA compliance and service quality.
• Represent the organization in meetings with regulators and industry groups.
• Lead audits and safety inspections, addressing findings and improving compliance.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships with airlines, GHAs, and other partners.
