Job summary

Beond, the world’s first premium leisure airline operating an all-lie-flat Airbus fleet, seeks a Director of Operations for its Saudi Arabia AOC based in Riyadh.

The role requires ATP certification, Part 121 operational control experience, and strong GACAR knowledge, with fluent English (Arabic a plus). The successful candidate will oversee ops manuals, flight dispatch, crew standards, and interface with GACA to secure approvals and audits.

Qualifications

• Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
• At least 3 years' supervisory/managerial experience with Part 121-similar operations in the last 6 years.
• At least 3 years' PIC experience of a Part 121 aircraft in the past 6 years for a first-time Director of Operations.
• Full understanding of GACAR, operations specs, airworthiness requirements and ops manual; acceptable to GACA.

Responsibilities

• Exercise operational control and accountability for flight operations under the AOC.
• Own the operations manual, ensure ops-specifications compliance and set operational standards.
• Oversee flight dispatch, flight-time limitations and flight-crew standards.
• Serve as operational interface with GACA for approvals, audits and findings.
• Embed the SMS within operations.

Beond is the world s first premium leisure airline flying an all-lie-flat Airbus fleet and is standing up new Air Operator Certificates in Bahrain BCAA and Saudi Arabia GACA We are seeking a Director of Operations for our Saudi Arabia AOC General Authority of Civil Aviation based in Riyadh Saudi Arabia The Director of Operations is appointed by and reports to the Accountable Executive and is responsible for Exercise operational control and accountability for the conduct of flight operations under the AOC Own the operations manual ensure ops-specifications compliance and set operational standards Oversee flight dispatch flight-time limitations and flight-crew standards Serve as the operational interface with GACA for approvals audits and findings Embed the SMS within operations This is a required management position under GACAR Part 121 45 The post is full-time and the successful candidate must be acceptable to GACA the President based on experience competence and knowledge with a full understanding of the GACAR the operations specifications applicable airworthiness requirements and the operations manual GACAR 121 45 e g

• Hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (GACAR 121.49(a)(1)).
• At least 3 years' supervisory/managerial experience within the last 6 years exercising operational control over Part 121-similar operations (GACAR 121.49(a)(2)).
• At least 3 years' experience within the past 6 years as PIC of a Part 121 aircraft for a first-time Director of Operations (GACAR 121.49(a)(3)).
• Full understanding of the GACAR, the operations specifications, applicable airworthiness requirements and the operations manual; must be acceptable to GACA (GACAR 121.45(e), (g)).
• Desirable Airbus A320/A321 experience.
• Existing GACA regulatory relationships and new-AOC experience.
• Fluent English; Arabic advantageous.
