Job summary

Air Products Inc. in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, seeks a HYCO Training Specialist to design, deliver and manage the operations and maintenance training for the Jubail HYCO facility, including auxiliary systems.

The role reports to the training lead and focuses on safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. You will develop curricula, conduct onboarding, maintain records, collaborate with engineering and HSSE teams, and drive continuous improvement through audits and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical process operations or chemical/ mechanical engineering.
• Certified Training Certificate required.
• 15+ years HYCO operations experience with >5 years in a lead or supervisory role is a plus.
• Track record of success training Operations & Maintenance in safe and reliable HYCO facilities.
• Fluent in English speaking and writing.
• Knowledge of local environmental and health and safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate and train at all levels daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide & maintain a safe work environment with leadership in safety processes.
• Provide direction based on Engineering and Maintenance feedback on training needs.
• Develop training curriculum with periodic testing for Operations & Maintenance staff.
• Train staff during commissioning & startup of the facility.
• Maintain document control and track training activities.
• Own operations procedures and train on new procedures via Management of Change.
• Onboard new Operators and Maintenance personnel and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with engineering and maintenance to enhance training packages.
• Liaise with local technical schools to develop programs for BHIG HYCO.
