Job summary

The HYCO Training Specialist at BHIG's Jubail HYCO facility reports to the training lead and oversees the technical training program for Operations & Maintenance staff. You will develop curricula, conduct testing, and ensure safe, reliable operation while partnering with Engineering, Maintenance, and HSSE teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process operations, mechanical engineering, or a 2-year technical certificate.
• Certified Training Certificate required.
• 15+ years HYCO operations experience, with >5 years in a lead or supervisory role is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills; strong safety focus.
• Proficiency in English speaking and writing; knowledge of local environmental and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a safe work environment; lead with safe work practices.
• Support commissioning and startup training for Operations & Maintenance teams; document control of training activities.
• Develop training curricula with periodic testing to track progression and close gaps.
• Create advanced training material for senior operators focusing on safety and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, HSSE, and external schools to continuously improve training programs.
