Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh seeks a Commercial Director to lead the commercial management of its Saudi portfolio. You will ensure projects meet contractual, financial and governance targets while guiding project teams in commercial processes.

The role requires MRICS/MCIPS or equivalent, 15+ years in major projects, and strong leadership, negotiation, and client relationship skills. International travel and hybrid work may apply.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience in commercial management within engineering/consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge of contracts, sub-contracts, and change control processes.
• Excellent client relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Risk management, financial modelling, and pricing proposal experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret rights and responsibilities across AtkinsRéalis' project portfolio in KSA.
• Provide overall support to Project Directors to deliver projects in line with contractual obligations and financial targets.
• Coordinate commercial appointments with internal and external stakeholders, including sub-consultants.
• Develop and manage commercial administration, monitoring, and change control systems.
• Support project teams on billing in line with contractual arrangements to maximise cash flow.
• Escalate and report on claims, manage risk registers and project contingency.
