AtkinsRealis is seeking a Commercial Director in Riyadh, KSA. The role leads commercial management for the portfolio, ensuring contractual adherence, financial targets, and governance standards.

It requires a strong blend of engineering and consultancy knowledge with leadership experience across large-scale projects. The position emphasizes risk and variation control, client relationships, and cross‑sector coordination in a regional context, with mobility within the Middle East and a hybrid work

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc in engineering or Quantity Surveying from a recognised western university.
• Professional Membership: MRICS, MCIOB, MCIPS, MCIArb.
• 15+ years of relevant experience with a global engineering cost consulting firm.
• Contract and sub-contracts – preparation, review and evaluation.
• Knowledge of design process in the project lifecycle and site operations.
• Experience on at least one major design and construct project; strong negotiation and risk skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret AtkinsRealis rights and responsibilities across its KSA portfolio.
• Lead the delivery of projects to contractual requirements and target margins.
• Coordinate commercial appointments with service providers and sub-consultants.
• Develop and manage commercial administration, change control, risk and variation registers.
• Develop commercial capability within project teams in KSA; support live projects.
• Provide guidance on billing, debt management and P&L improvement.
