AtkinsRéalis is recruiting a Commercial Director in Riyadh to lead the commercial management of its Saudi portfolio, ensuring contractual, financial and governance targets are met.

The role requires extensive experience in engineering/consultancy, relationship building with clients, and the ability to influence risk management and profitability across major projects in the Middle East.

Qualifications

• Contracts and sub-contracts preparation, review and evaluation.
• Knowledge of design process in the project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of site operations process.
• Preparation of financial models and pricing proposals.
• Understanding and experience of project planning, programme and delay claim preparation and evaluation.
• Management of variations and claims processes, claims preparation.
• Senior level commercial experience on at least one major design and construct project.
• Excellent communicator in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret AtkinsRéalis rights and responsibilities across its portfolio of projects in KSA.
• Support Project Directors in delivering projects to contractual arrangements and required commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate commercial appointments for services provided by all parties.
• Develop and manage commercial administration, monitoring and change control system requirements.
• Develop commercial understanding within Project Management and Design delivery staff in KSA.
• Support the project-based Commercial staff on live projects.
• Escalate and report on claims against insurance and related circumstances.
• Review monthly financial reports and risk registers; influence contingency to margin.

### **Job Description**## Overview AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Commercial Director, in Riyadh, KSA. The Commercial Director will lead and oversee the commercial management of AtkinsRéalis’ portfolio of projects in Saudi Arabia. This strategic role ensures that projects are delivered in line with contractual obligations, financial targets, and internal governance standards.
