AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia seeks a Commercial Manager to oversee contracts, claims, variations, and commercial risk across large masterplan developments. You will lead contract administration, monitor budgets, and provide strategic commercial guidance to project teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in contract management within masterplanned developments, strong knowledge of FIDIC/NEC, and proven negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, law, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in contract management and commercial roles within masterplan development projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.
• Proficiency in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen and cost-control expertise.
• Ability to interpret legal documents and contractual obligations.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer contracts.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Prepare and review claims, variations, and change orders.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve disputes.
• Prepare reports on commercial performance and contractual issues for senior management.
• Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and financial reporting.
