Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - VT to supervise and monitor mechanical and vertical transportation works on high-rise building construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 2+ years of related experience in high-rise building construction projects.
• Strong site supervision experience in mechanical works and vertical transportation systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities related to mechanical and vertical transportation works.
• Monitor installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting) and VT systems (elevators, escalators).
• Review contractor works to ensure compliance with method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and subcontractors for proper sequencing.
• Inspect progress, identify defects, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure activities align with project schedule and report delays or issues.
