Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in MEP works for a Riyadh-based assignment. The role focuses on overseeing on-site mechanical installations, including HVAC, smoke management, plumbing, and firefighting systems, while coordinating with structural, architectural, electrical, and civil teams.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of five years of site-based experience on major construction projects, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Saudi National candidate required.
• Minimum 5 years of site-based experience on construction projects.
• Extensive experience with HVAC, smoke management, plumbing, firefighting, escalators/elevators.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and technical support for mechanical works on site.
• Monitor mechanical construction activities per drawings, method statements and specs.
• Review contractor shop drawings in coordination with other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluate subcontractor performance against quality and safety.
• Maintain and verify Inspection and Test Records and project documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely completion of MEP works.
