Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities across assigned high-rise building areas.
• Monitor HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and related mechanical installations.
• Oversee elevator, escalator, and moving-walk installation where included in the project scope.
• Verify that work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
• Confirm contractor compliance with approved method statements and inspection requirements.
• Check installation quality, positioning, supports, access, and coordination.
• Monitor contractor workmanship and resource deployment.
• Coordinate engineers, inspectors, contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines.
• Maintain appropriate sequencing between mechanical, vertical-transportation, electrical, structural, and architectural works.
• Identify spatial conflicts and incomplete interface requirements.
• Inspect completed work and record defects or non-conformances.
• Follow corrective actions through completion and verified closeout.
• Compare site progress with the approved construction schedule.
• Report delays, access limitations, design concerns, and resource constraints.
• Escalate technical matters to the Resident Engineer or Construction Manager.

Ideal Profile

The preferred candidate is an experienced building-services supervisor with practical knowledge of both mechanical and vertical-transportation construction.

• Diploma or bachelor 's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum eight years of experience on high-rise construction projects.
• Strong site-supervision background covering mechanical building services.
• Practical experience with elevators, escalators, or other vertical-transportation systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting installations.
• Understanding of mechanical equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Familiarity with construction quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Working knowledge of HSE requirements for building-services installation.
• Previous experience within contractor, consultant, or project-management consultancy teams is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and identify interface problems.
