Job summary

Qualifications

• Twenty years or more in engineering or project management with a track record as risk manager on large-scale projects.
• Ability to identify problems, assess alternatives and determine solutions.
• Experience with commercial risk management practices and corporate risk procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk management standards, policies and procedures for projects.
• Establish and manage the program risk management plan across assignments.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report risks within the project lifecycle.
• Conduct risk assessments during execution and update risk registers.
• Lead client, consultant and contractor meetings to evaluate risk issues.
• Review risk scoring accuracy and adequacy of mitigation plans.
• Train staff to create ongoing risk management awareness and reporting.
• Prepare monthly risk reports for client meetings and ad-hoc reports as needed.
