Job summary

MERCURE in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Reservations Clerk to handle inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accurate bookings and noting guest preferences.

You will collaborate with the front desk to deliver a smooth guest experience from booking to check-out, while maintaining knowledge of services and local attractions. Fresh graduates are welcome, with basic English required.

Qualifications

• Tamayyaz Program is for Saudi Nationals Only.
• Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including fresh graduates and those with up to 6 months of relevant work experience.
• Basic English skills are a must.
• Strong passion for the Hospitality Field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A team player that contributes to and proactively assists co-workers.
• Ability to work a flexible roster depending on departmental needs.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately process and confirm reservations ensuring all guest preferences and requests are noted.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to provide guests with accurate information.
• Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience from booking to check-out.
• Manage and resolve any reservation-related issues or complaints effectively and efficiently.
