Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Project Lead Engineer – Primary to design, implement, and oversee an engineering project including GIS infrastructure, drawings, BOMs, and specifications.

You will lead technical discussions with customers, coordinate with supply chain for procurement, and ensure quality and timely delivery across all project phases. The role requires an engineering bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of GIS experience, with fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of GIS project experience.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate discussions with customers, addressing site queries and taking necessary actions.
• Provide technical guidance to apprentices, entry-level engineers, technicians, and support teams.
• Review deliverables before submission to the client.
• Review and prepare technical documents for procurement of GIS components and engage with Supply Chain for materials.
• Participate in project review meetings and ensure on-time delivery.
• Develop solutions aligned with project requirements to reduce lead time and cost.
