Job summary

proven-sa is seeking an Operations and Customer Service Specialist to ensure flawless execution of Air and Ocean shipments in Saudi Arabia. You will support customers, sales and network with expert guidance while complying with all processes to deliver timely shipments.

The role covers export and import operations, document handling, customs coordination, cost accrual and KPI monitoring. A Bachelor’s degree and freight-forwarding experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of ocean and air import/export procedures.
• Prior experience in a freight forwarding company is mandatory.
• Good administrative and communication skills.
• Good time management and problem solving skills.
• Results-driven professional with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Export Operations: arrange collection, prepare export docs, book shipments, coordinate with handling agents, oversee customs clearance, issue pre-alerts, invoice, monitor vendor statements, update on delays.
• Import Operations: receive inbound pre-alerts, schedule deliveries, coordinate with consignees, oversee inbound customs clearance, release BL/DO to customer, obtain POD, invoice origins, monitor costs.
• General Responsibilities: maintain data in AS400, follow SOPs/IOPs, monitor KPIs, handle quotes/pricing, identify business opportunities for Sales.
