Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts' Regent brand in Jeddah seeks a General Manager to lead the pre-opening and opening phases and drive the long-term success of Regent Jeddah, a flagship luxury project on the Red Sea.

You will shape vision, guest experience and commercial performance, building a high-performing team and partnering with owners and stakeholders to position Regent Jeddah as a premier luxury destination in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, with opening planned for late 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven GM experience in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels.
• Significant pre-opening and opening leadership experience.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting and profitability skills.
• Experience working with owners, investors and representatives.
• Ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and influence skills.
• Experience operating in the Middle East preferred; English fluency essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-opening, opening, and ongoing hotel operations.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan delivering sustainable performance and owner value.
• Build relationships with owners, representatives and stakeholders.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing leadership team.
• Establish Regent Jeddah as a leading luxury destination in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.
• Drive hospitality standards and guest experience in line with Regent brand.
• Oversee financial performance including budgeting and forecasting.
• Foster innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Represent IHG, Regent Brands and stakeholders with industry bodies and community.
