Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group seeks a General Manager to lead Regent Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, through pre-opening, opening and ongoing operations. You will shape vision, culture and guest experience, working with ownership and stakeholders to drive performance and owner value.

The role requires proven luxury-hotel GM experience, strong financial acumen and a track record of successful pre-openings in the Middle East region. Fluent English; Arabic preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Proven General Manager experience in internationally recognised luxury or ultra-luxury hotel brands.
• Significant pre-opening and hotel opening leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a track record of delivering owner value.
• Experience working closely with owners, investors and owner representatives.
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the hotel's pre-opening, opening and ongoing operations.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan delivering sustainable commercial performance and owner returns.
• Build trusted relationships with owners, owner representatives and key stakeholders.
• Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing leadership team.
• Establish Regent Jeddah as a leading luxury destination in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure exceptional guest experiences aligned with Regent standards.
• Lead financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth and profitability.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Represent the hotel and IHG with industry, government and community stakeholders.
• Champion talent development and create an environment for growth.
