Job summary

Salasa | سلاسة is seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to oversee daily fulfillment operations in Saudi Arabia, lead the frontline team, and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards. You will monitor productivity, allocate tasks, and coach staff to meet customer and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, e-commerce operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role is preferred.
• Experience managing and coordinating frontline operational teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and fulfillment processes.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, or warehouse management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the daily activities of the operations team.
• Allocate tasks and manpower based on operational requirements and workload.
• Monitor team attendance, productivity, performance, and discipline.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve performance.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities and updates.
• Escalate employee-related and operational issues to the Operations Supervisor when required.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, sorting, and dispatch.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and within the required timelines.
• Monitor workflow and identify operational bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper handling of products and compliance with warehouse procedures.
• Monitor operational KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, fulfillment rate, and on-time dispatch.
• Monitor team performance and manpower utilization.
• Prepare and communicate daily operational updates and performance reports.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all team members follow company SOPs, operational procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Report operational incidents, damages, discrepancies, and safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure proper use and handling of warehouse equipment and materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and reduce errors and delays.
• Support the implementation of new processes and operational initiatives.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Contribute to improving productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.
