Operations Team Leader

Location: Al Hofuf, Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia

Reporting To: Operations Supervisor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Team Leader to oversee daily fulfillment operations and ensure smooth, efficient, and accurate execution of warehouse activities.

The role will be responsible for leading the operations team, monitoring productivity and operational KPIs, ensuring adherence to SOPs and safety standards, and supporting the achievement of customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead, supervise, and support the daily activities of the operations team.
• Allocate tasks and manpower based on operational requirements and workload.
• Monitor team attendance, productivity, performance, and discipline.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve performance.
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate operational priorities and updates.
• Escalate employee-related and operational issues to the Operations Supervisor when required.

Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, sorting, and dispatch.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and within the required timelines.
• Monitor workflow and identify operational bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Ensure proper handling of products and compliance with warehouse procedures.

Performance & KPI Management

• Monitor operational KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, fulfillment rate, and on-time dispatch.
• Monitor team performance and manpower utilization.
• Prepare and communicate daily operational updates and performance reports.
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all team members follow company SOPs, operational procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Report operational incidents, damages, discrepancies, and safety concerns promptly.
• Ensure proper use and handling of warehouse equipment and materials.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and reduce errors and delays.
• Support the implementation of new processes and operational initiatives.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Contribute to improving productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, e-commerce operations, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role is preferred.
• Experience managing and coordinating frontline operational teams.
• Good understanding of warehouse and fulfillment processes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, or warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Ability to work in shifts and adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Fluent Arabic and working proficiency in English is preferred.
