Job summary

Emerson is seeking a field-service engineer in Saudi Arabia to provide service and support for Emerson Process Management products, including maintenance, diagnostics, installation and commissioning, start-up, and problem resolution. You will be the focal point for customer technical support, advising on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to improve performance and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate level certification for all services performed at site.
• Understanding of Control & Instrumentation theory including control loop configuration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (control engineering, computer science, or electronics).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks per customer requirements.
• Provide recommendations on product or solution, enhancements, and system health checks.
• Take ownership in service project activities coordination.
• Carry out startup/installation/commissioning, fault analysis and repairs on Emerson Process Management products.
• Assist Sales Engineers in product demonstrations and after-sales service.
• Develop and implement product/system configuration changes at site.
• Provide on-site instruction in the application, maintenance, and operation of Emerson Process Management products.
• Be available as required to support the on-call rotation.
• Comply with all Emerson requirements for business processes including timesheets and site visit reports.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies.
