Job summary

Cohesity is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to drive net-new logo acquisition and grow strategic accounts within a fast-moving enterprise tech space focused on AI-powered data security. You’ll engage with senior decision-makers, develop solutions that map Cohesity’s platform to customer security needs, and collaborate closely with channel partners and alliances.

The role requires a customer-focused mindset, experience selling enterprise tech to security teams, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to Information Security/Cybersecurity teams and aligning solutions to security/risk needs.
• Customer-focused mindset with interest in cybersecurity and data protection.
• Experience selling enterprise technology solutions (infrastructure, SaaS, or adjacent markets).
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and sales effectiveness.
• Proven track record in net-new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts.
• Foundational understanding of data security and backup technologies; willingness to deepen knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Execute a territory plan focused on net-new logo acquisition and account growth.
• Build, manage, and progress a qualified sales pipeline with internal and channel support.
• Engage with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders across complex organizations.
• Lead engagements through discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment.
• Develop clear, value-based proposals connecting Cohesity’s platform to customer security and resilience needs.
• Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances to support deal execution.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting; contribute to quarterly performance.
• Share customer insights and competitive feedback with sales and product teams.
