Job summary

OpenTalent seeks a senior engineering leader to manage a technical group in Riyadh, directing multi-disciplinary tasks across infrastructure and transportation projects. You will interpret, organize, and execute complex engineering assignments with minimal supervision and broad strategic impact.

Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers and technicians, maintaining liaison across units, and driving requirements management and systems engineering efforts in large-scale programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
• Requirements Engineering certifications (IREB or equivalent).
• PMP (advantageous).
• Typically 12+ years of experience in requirements management, systems engineering, or project delivery, with several years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience on major infrastructure, rail, metro, transportation, or engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.
• Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.
• Generally requires multi-disciplinary knowledge of engineering.
• Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems.
• Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.
• Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.
• Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
• Manages group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.
