Job summary

ACWA is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Maintenance to plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical equipment, including outages and overhauls, under the Section Head. This role requires coordinating with planning engineers, managing CMMS (SAP), and maintaining records to support continuous reliability.

The candidate will ensure IMS objectives, report on performance, and drive corrective actions.

• Be able to use SAP as end user.

Responsibilities

• Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs under Section Head guidance.
• Executes work orders through CMMS (SAP) and coordinates with planning engineer.
• Maintains communications to report status and ensure corrective action.
• Supports Maintenance Manager in scheduled maintenance activities.
• Evaluates quotations and recommends choices.
• Prepares purchase requisitions and ensures spare parts availability.
• Reviews maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Supervises maintenance staff and coordinates activities.
• Ensures IMS objectives and programs are implemented.
• Reports on IMS performance to management.
• Ensures legal compliance within scope of activities.
• Identifies root causes and implements corrective/preventive actions.
• Assesses competency gaps and trains staff.
• Conducts annual performance evaluations.
• Provides on‑the‑job training and evaluates OJT performance.
• Identifies hazards and implements controls.
• Monitors operational aspects and deviations in IMS.
