RAAFA WA is seeking Domestic team members for permanent part-time positions at Karri & Tuart Lodge in Merriwa and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge in Cambrai Village. You will support kitchen, servery, cleaning and laundry services, delivering high-quality service in a warm, home-like environment for our residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, cleaning or similar environments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate approach and interest in supporting older people.

Responsibilities

• Perform food handling duties in line with hygiene standards.
• Assist with meal service, drinks and snacks while supporting resident choice.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the facility.
• Complete cleaning schedules and documentation.
• Manage laundry duties, including collecting, washing, folding and returning linen.
• Ensure workspaces and equipment are clean, safe and maintained.
• Communicate effectively with residents and teams.
• Report hazards and incidents to contribute to a safe environment.
• Support a warm, home-like environment for residents.

About The Role

As a Domestic team member, you will:

• Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or similar environments
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, with a genuine interest in supporting older people
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Positive attitude and ability to build relationships with residents and colleagues
