Job summary

Green Earth is a premium laundry and leather care brand in Saudi Arabia. We seek a Customer Service Advisor to greet customers at the counter, advise on care options, and upsell services while guiding them through app usage and our pickup & delivery offering.

You will handle orders, explain turnaround times, and maintain a warm, professional tone in both Arabic and English. This role includes cash handling, POS use, and achieving monthly targets, with training on our unique GE standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a customer-facing role involving advising or selling (premium retail or hotel front desk).
• Fluent in Arabic and good spoken English.
• Confident in handling objections and explaining value, not just price.
• Comfortable with POS systems and cash handling.
• Well presented, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers and conduct consultative selling at drop-off.
• Explain service options and pricing differences; upsell add-ons and premium services.
• Promote the Green Earth app and pickup & delivery service; meet monthly targets for add-ons and sign-ups.
• Register orders accurately in the POS, hand over completed orders, collect payments, and perform daily closing.

Green Earth is a premium laundry and leather care brand in Saudi Arabia, serving customers in-store and through our pickup & delivery service.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you are the face of Green Earth at the counter. Receiving and returning orders is part of the job, but the real work is advising. That includes understanding what each customer needs, recommending the right care for every item, explaining the options clearly, and handling difficult situations confidently within company policy. Your mission is to turn first-time visitors into loyal, regular customers.

Key responsibilities

1. Service advisory and consultative selling

• Inspect items with the customer at drop-off then recommend the right service.
• Explain clearly the difference between services, and why prices differ.
• Recommend add-ons and premium services where applicable.
• Promote the Green Earth app and our pickup & delivery service.
• Work towards monthly targets for add-on sales, average ticket value and app / delivery sign-ups.

2. Customer communication and expectation setting

• Set the right expectations at drop-off such as turnaround time and realistic outcomes.
• Build relationships with regular and VIP customers and cater to individual requests.
• Communicate professionally and warmly in Arabic and English.

3. Handling scenarios within company policy and GE norms

• Resolve common counter situations calmly and in line with company policy.
• Know your own authority limits and when to **escalate** to the superiors.

4. Reception and cashier

• Register orders accurately in the POS.
• Hand over completed orders and check items with the customer at collection.
• Take payments, maintain the cash drawer and complete daily closing.
• Follow daily reception SOPs and keep the counter clean, organised and presentable.

Who we are looking for

Must have

• 2+ years in a customer-facing role that involved advising or selling, e.g. premium retail or hotel front desk.

• Comfortable with POS systems, computers and cash handling.
• Well presented, punctual and reliable.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of fabrics, garment care or leather.
• Experience serving premium or VIP clientele.

Training we provide

• Dry cleaning fundamentals: what garments can and cannot be cleaned, and why.
• Leather services: what can and cannot be serviced and expected outcomes.
• Green Earth services, add-ons, pricing and the app/pickup & delivery offering.
• POS software in depth.
• Daily reception SOPs, company policies, escalation limits and GE service standards.

Working conditions

• Working hours: 9 hours per day, including a 1-hour break.
• Working days: Saturday to Thursday (Friday off).
• Salary: SAR 5,000 per month during the probation period, SAR 6,000 per month after successful completion of probation.
• Incentive: based on achieving targets.
