Responsible for controlling project cost performance, forecasting final cost, supporting change management and providing accurate financial and commercial visibility to project and executive management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control processes and procedures to track and manage project costs.
• Assist in preparing project budgets in cooperation with all concerned parties.
• Monitor and capture actual costs against budgets and identify variances, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Integrate work progress with incurred costs to develop cost KPIs.
• Prepare detailed forecasting reports, accurately highlight variances and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement and finance teams to optimize costs.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Prepare regular cost control reports for management review.
• Maintain cost records and documentation to support audits and compliance.
• Capacity to analyze financial data, identify cost trends and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 6-8 years of experience in cost control.
• Hold recognized certificates related to cost management (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in cost estimating, budgeting, and cost accounting principles.
