Job summary

Project Control/Cost Manager

Job Summary

Business Manager/Project Control Manager supports the Program Director in proactive client engagement, maintaining vigilance and sensitivity to client perceptions throughout the life of the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with client counterparts regularly to discover, assess, and address relationship concerns early and decisively.
• Discuss with the client how to mitigate issues and concerns.
• Contract Administration including the management of all WERs and PAFs.
• Procurement and Subcontract Support services.
• Project Controls, Cost and Planning.
• Preparation and submission of all weekly and monthly project controls documentation as required by the contract.
• Coordination with Finance for invoicing.
• Proposal preparation.
• Training and development.
• IT & Design systems.
• Document control administration.
• SAPMT seconded personnel.

Qualifications

A background in Project Control is essential.

Experience in the offshore industry or similar industry on mega projects, and a relevant degree for the respective engineering discipline.

Must have thorough knowledge of engineering.

Must be cost conscious and have a good understanding of the fundamentals of planning.

Essentially, strong people management, conflict resolution and excellent communication skills.
