AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, seeks an experienced Contract Administrator to coordinate and review complex contracts across industrial, commercial and government sectors for major rail and infrastructure projects. You may lead a team of junior administrators and set own project deadlines, working on-site in Riyadh.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field, a minimum of 12 years in contract administration,

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in contract administration, with substantial rail or infrastructure project exposure.
  • Extensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts and their application.
  • Change management and claims administration expertise.
  • Proficiency in contract compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • MRICS or PMP certification is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and review contract administration activities for industrial, commercial and government contracts on major rail or infrastructure projects.
  • May serve as team lead and provide guidance to junior contract administrators.
  • Assist in negotiation of terms and conditions with clients and advise on outsourcing requirements.

Job Description

  • Coordinates and provides review, administration and/or compliance activities for industrial, commercial and/or government (federal, state and local) as listed above for complex contracts that may require more coordination with multiple entities, requiring further legal reviews, etc.
  • Works under limited supervision.
  • May provide guidance to level I and II contract administrators.
  • Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
  • May assist in the negotiation of terms and conditions with clients.
  • May provide recommendations regarding outsourcing requirements.
  • This position may serve as team lead and subject matter expert.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field is required. Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in contract administration, with substantial experience supporting major rail or infrastructure projects.
Essential competencies include:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts and their application
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management and claims administration
  • Proven proficiency in contract compliance and regulatory requirements
Professional certifications such as MRICS or PMP are expected of qualified candidates.
