Job summary

AECOM, a global infrastructure leader, seeks a seasoned professional in Survey & Estimation to drive cost management on rail/metro projects in the Riyadh region. The role requires MRICS, a strong background in cost control, and proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, and SAP.

You will work under limited supervision and contribute to complex infrastructure assignments, ensuring accuracy and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline is mandatory.
• 18+ years of demonstrable cost management experience in professional practice.
• Minimum 5 years of substantive experience on rail and/or metro infrastructure projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions and their application.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP, or equivalent cost control systems is essential.
• MRICS or equivalent professional qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts surveys to ascertain locations of natural features and structures using surveying instruments.
• Operates land-information computer systems and generates plots and reports.
• Reviews information from survey teams on distances, angles, elevations, and contours.
• Researches legal records to determine boundary locations.
• Records survey results and prepares plots, maps, and reports.
• Work on problems of diverse scope as an experienced professional.

Job Description

• Under limited supervision, normally receives little instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.
• Conducts surveys to ascertain the locations of natural features and human-made structures on the earth's surface, underground, and underwater, using electronic distance-measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
• Operates and manages land-information computer systems, performs tasks such as storing data, making inquiries, and producing plots and reports.
• Reviews information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances, directions, angles between points and elevation of points, lines, and contours on, above, and below the earth’s surface.
• Researches legal records, looks for evidence of previous boundaries, and analyzes the data to determine the location of boundary lines.
• Records the results of surveys, verifies the accuracy of data, and prepares plots, maps, and reports.
• An experienced professional with full understanding of area of specialization.
• Works on problems of diverse scope.

• Minimum 18 years of demonstrable cost management experience in professional practice.
• Minimum 5 years of substantive experience on rail and/or metro infrastructure projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions and their application.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Power BI, SAP, or equivalent cost control systems is essential.
• MRICS (Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional qualification is required.
