Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead complex sourcing across large-scale infrastructure projects. You will manage vendor relations, develop RFPs, and optimize procurement strategies to deliver cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires extensive procurement experience, leadership capability, and a track record on infrastructure, rail, transportation, or engineering initiatives. Onboarding includes day-1 attendance at an AECOM office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Admin, Engineering or related field.
  • Certifications such as CIPS/MCIPS/PMP are highly desirable.
  • Typically 12+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Performs more advanced to complex tasks within a particular field.
  • Under very general direction, purchases supplies and services from vendors at the lowest cost, according to company standards and specifications.
  • Prepares requests for proposals, analyzes quotes, selects vendors, schedules and expedites deliveries and follows up on invoices.
  • This level is viewed as advanced within the scope of the position.

  • Professional certifications are highly desirable, such as:
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
  • MCIPS
  • PMP (advantageous)
  • Supply Chain or Contract Management certifications
  • Typically 12+ years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing procurement activities on large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, construction, or engineering projects.
