Job summary

Amazon AWS in Riyadh seeks a Sr. Manager, Solutions Architect to lead a growing team of SAs serving Saudi customers, collaborating with Sales and AWS teams to craft scalable cloud architectures and accelerate cloud adoption.

You will mentor engineers, drive revenue through migrations and AI workloads, and participate in customer engagements, white-papers, and architectural reviews, shaping strategic direction across industries in the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a leader for the SA team, and a key member of the business development team.
• Hire, enable, and develop an industry-leading team of solutions architects.
• Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for their critical workloads that support their digital transformation and journey to the cloud.
• Support achievement of revenue objectives through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services onto the AWS platform, in partnership with the sales team.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Contribute to AWS internal and customer-facing publications such as white-papers and blogs as a means of scaling your knowledge.
• Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support to address customer needs.
