Job summary

SSCL is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead planning, design and construction of large-scale infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure technical compliance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while guiding junior engineers and site teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, engineers and contractors, reviewing drawings and calculations, and managing budgets and schedules to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Qualifications

• PE certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Experience leading teams on large civil infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Ability to manage budgets, risks and schedules.

Job Purpose:

Leads complex civil engineering projects, ensuring designs, plans, and construction comply with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Provides guidance to junior engineers, manages site operations, and supports project teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective civil infrastructure solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, safety, and technical compliance.

Minimum Experience & Professional Certifications

• 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
• Experience managing teams, overseeing technical aspects of design and construction, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications in project management, safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA), or quality control (e.g., Six Sigma) are beneficial.
