Job summary

WEbook, Inc. in Saudi Arabia seeks a visionary Head of Data to own end-to-end data strategy, build a high-performing team, and turn first-party data into trusted decisions and monetisable assets. You will lead data platform direction and governance across the modern data stack.

Own the data platform, metrics, governance, FinOps, and data products, while ensuring PDPL/GDPR/NCA compliance and collaborating with executives to drive commercial value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data, with 3–5 years in a senior data leadership role (Head of Data / Director).
• Proven track record building and leading high-performing data teams across engineering, analytics and governance.
• Deep hands-on understanding of modern data platforms and the modern data stack.
• Experience with open-source and managed platforms with cost-conscious decision making.
• Strong ability to translate data work into business value and governance.

Responsibilities

• Own data strategy and roadmap; lead engineering, analytics and governance functions.
• Build, mentor and retain a high-performing data team with clear OKRs.
• Oversee data platform direction across warehouse/lakehouse, dbt, orchestration, BI, serving.
• Establish a single source of truth and a governed metrics layer.
• Ensure PDPL/GDPR/NCA privacy compliance and data governance.
