Job summary

raafa is seeking an experienced Chef to join the Food & Beverage team at the raafa Club in Merriwa, WA. You will operate a well-equipped commercial kitchen, ensuring high-quality meals for residents, and contribute to budget and staff management.

The Role And You

• You will maintain a well equipped commercial kitchen ensuring you meet the requirements of all of residents;
• You will efficiently and effectively assist in managing staff and budgetary requirements to deliver a superior quality of food;
• Maintain a hands on approach in food preparation and lead from the front in terms of a safe and quality meal service;
• Assist with stock control and rotation of stores;
• Take responsibility for the safety of the kitchen using management systems;
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement;
• Working knowledge of Food Safety (HACCP) guidelines and regulations;
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role;
• Ability to deliver outcomes in a commercial kitchen environment.
