Job summary

raafa is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge in Merriwa, WA as Permanent Part Time Relief staff. You will deliver person-centred care under RN supervision, contributing to a supportive clinical team and residents’ well-being.

The role offers Monday–Friday AM/PM availability with Wednesday PM essential, plus opportunities to pick up additional relief shifts to increase hours and earnings. Benefits include above‑award pay and various employee programs.

Qualifications

• Current Enrolled Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Sound understanding of the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.
• Strong clinical, communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of aged care standards and person-centred care.
• Passion for building meaningful relationships with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the assessment of residents.
• Contribute to the development and review of a care plan for residents.
• Provide care and support to residents under the supervision of the RN.
• Monitor the well-being of residents and report changes.
• Update residents’ records.
• Contribute to assessing the effectiveness of nursing care to achieve outcomes for residents.
• Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
• Supervise Care staff.

Permanent Part-Time Relief

Merriwa, WA — Join the team at Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge that was opened in late 2007, situated in 85 Hester Avenue. Even though it is the smaller facility out of the two with 79 beds, the lodge still offers the same amount of care and services with permanent and respite care. As an Enrolled Nurse with raafa, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while working alongside a supportive and experienced clinical team.

We are currently seeking Enrolled Nurses with Monday to Friday AM and PM availability, with Wednesday PM availability essential. In addition to your permanent part-time roster, there are opportunities to pick up additional relief shifts, providing flexibility and the chance to increase your hours and earnings.

What is Relief Work?

Relief work involves covering planned and unplanned staff absences, including annual leave, personal leave, training and periods of increased resident care needs. It offers flexibility, variety and additional earning opportunities while ensuring continuity of care for our residents.
