Job summary

Accor is seeking a CCTV Operator to monitor surveillance across designated hotel areas and ensure guest and staff safety. You will observe entrances, exits, back-of-house zones, and restricted areas, reporting anomalies to the Security Management team.

The role requires discretion, quick response to incidents, and coordination with multiple departments within the hotel. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, prior CCTV/security experience in hospitality, and solid knowledge

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; security-related training is a plus.
• Experience as CCTV Operator or security role, preferably in hotel/hospitality.
• Good knowledge of CCTV systems and monitoring procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate monitoring software.
• Ability to observe details and communicate effectively.
• Calm, focused performance in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across hotel areas.
• Maintain observation of guest areas, entrances, exits, and sensitive locations.
• Identify and report suspicious or unauthorized activities to Security Management.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
• Record and maintain accurate logs of incidents and activities.
• Review CCTV footage for investigations or follow-ups.
• Handle recordings confidentially and securely.
• Coordinate with Security, Front Office, Engineering and other departments.
• Report equipment malfunctions to Security/Supervisor and IT/Engineering.
• Assist in investigations by providing CCTV footage as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding guests, colleagues, incidents, and operations.
• Follow hotel security policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Perform other duties related to security and surveillance as assigned.

Job Description

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems across all designated hotel areas.
• Maintain continuous observation of guest areas, entrances, exits, back-of-house areas, parking areas, and other sensitive locations.
• Identify and report suspicious, unusual, or unauthorized activities to the Security Supervisor or Security Management.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies observed through the CCTV system.
• Record and maintain accurate logs of incidents, observations, and security-related activities.
• Review and retrieve CCTV footage when requested for investigations or incident follow-up.
• Ensure that CCTV recordings and related information are handled confidentially and securely.
• Coordinate with the Security, Front Office, Engineering, and other relevant departments when required.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas to ensure compliance with hotel security procedures.
• Immediately report equipment malfunctions, camera failures, or technical issues to the Security Supervisor and Engineering/IT team.
• Assist in investigations by providing relevant CCTV footage and information in accordance with authorized procedures.
• Maintain professional confidentiality regarding guests, colleagues, incidents, and hotel operations.
• Follow all hotel security policies, emergency procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Perform any other duties related to security and surveillance as assigned by the Security Management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional security-related training is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and monitoring procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate security monitoring software.
• Good observation and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during emergency situations.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights( men only ) , weekends, and public holidays.
