Job summary

Dussmann-Ajlan & Bros in Riyadh is seeking a CCTV Operator to monitor live and recorded footage at the headquarters. You will diligently watch cameras, detect security and operational incidents, and document events in the log while following approved procedures.

The role requires at least 2 years of CCTV monitoring experience and CCTV/security training or certification. You will coordinate with security personnel and emergency responders, ensure confidentiality, and participate in shift

Qualifications

• CCTV/security training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live and recorded CCTV footage continuously to detect security, safety, and operational incidents.
• Identify suspicious activities, unauthorized access, hazards, and emergencies, and report them through approved escalation channels.
• Maintain constant attention to assigned cameras and ensure uninterrupted monitoring throughout the shift.
• Operate CCTV, video management, playback, zoom, and camera-control functions in accordance with approved procedures.
• Record all incidents, observations, actions, and communications accurately in the control-room logbook or electronic system.
• Retrieve, review, and securely export footage when formally authorized, maintaining accuracy and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Protect the confidentiality of surveillance footage and comply with company policies and privacy regulations.
• Conduct routine checks of cameras, monitors, recording equipment, and system status; report faults or coverage gaps.
• Coordinate with security personnel, supervisors, emergency responders, and relevant operational teams during incidents.
• Support incident investigations by providing accurate timelines, observations, and authorized video evidence.
• Follow emergency response procedures, including fire, intrusion, medical, and evacuation protocols.
• Maintain a secure, organized CCTV control-room environment and prevent unauthorized access.
• Perform proper shift handovers, highlighting ongoing incidents, system faults, pending actions, and critical information.
• Comply with QHSE requirements, company policies, site instructions, and security procedures.
• Carry out other related duties assigned by the Security Supervisor or Project Manager.
